Parvovirus, Parainfluenza), Bordetella, and Leptospirosis vaccinations, and will provide
veterinary proof upon request.
- The Client certifies that the dog is free from fleas, ticks, and internal parasites, and is
currently on an active preventative treatment against fleas, ticks, and heartworm.
- The Client must disclose any medical, health, or behavioral conditions that could affect the
safety of the dog, other animals, or people. Failure to do so will result in the immediate
termination of this Agreement.
4. Preliminary Evaluation (Meet & Greet)
- Final acceptance of any pet for daycare or boarding services is subject to a preliminary
behavioral evaluation (Meet & Greet) conducted by the Provider.
- The Provider reserves the right to refuse service if they determine, at their sole
discretion, that the pet is not suitable for their home environment or poses a safety risk to
others.
5. Veterinary Care Authorization
- If the dog becomes ill or injured while under the Provider’s care, the Provider will
attempt to contact the Client and the Emergency Contact immediately. If neither can be reached,
the Client authorizes the Provider to seek veterinary care — first with the dog’s
designated veterinarian, and if unavailable, at the nearest available emergency clinic.
- The Client agrees to fully reimburse the Provider for all veterinary expenses incurred on
behalf of the dog, including reasonable transportation costs.
6. Behavior and Safety
- The Provider reserves the right to immediately suspend services for any dog that displays
destructive or physical aggression toward people or other animals.

(off-leash dog parks) and only with the Client’s prior written consent.
- The Client accepts all liability under the Ontario Dog Owners’ Liability Act for any
injury or damage caused by their dog and agrees to cover all resulting costs.
7. Property Damage (Provider’s Home)
- The Client assumes full financial responsibility for any property damage caused by their dog
to the Provider’s premises (including, but not limited to, chewing on furniture, doors, or
walls; damage to carpets, garden, or personal belongings of the Provider and their family).
- The Client agrees to reimburse the Provider for the full cost of repair or replacement of the
damaged property within 7 days of being presented with the corresponding receipts or invoices.
8. Home Access and Pick-up/Drop-off Rules
- For Services at Client’s Home: Keys, entry codes, or access devices
will be kept secure and used only for scheduled services.
- For Services at Provider’s Home: The Client agrees to respect the
agreed drop-off and pick-up times. For the safety of other boarded pets, the Client may not
enter private areas of the Provider’s home without an express invitation.
9. Unclaimed Pet Protocol (Abandonment)
- If the dog is not picked up by the scheduled end date and time, and the Client or their
emergency contact cannot be reached after repeated attempts over a period of 7 calendar days,
the pet shall be legally deemed abandoned.
- Under such circumstances, the Provider is authorized to surrender the dog to a humane
society, SPCA, or local animal shelter in accordance with Ontario laws.
- The Client remains fully responsible for all accumulated costs of additional care,
transportation, and shelter surrender fees.
10. Photos, Videos, and Daily Reports
- Promotional Use: The Provider may take and use photos or videos of the dog
on social media or promotional materials only with the Client’s authorization. No personal
information or Client location will be shared under any circumstances. The Client may indicate
their preference in their booking notes or in writing.
- Daily Updates to Client: The Client may request daily photos and/or videos
of the dog via messaging apps (WhatsApp, SMS, etc.) to stay updated on their stay and verify
their well-being.
11. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
- The Client acknowledges that pet care involves inherent risks, including injury, illness,
escape, or death. Except in cases of proven gross negligence or willful misconduct by the
Provider, the Client releases the Provider from any and all liability for injury, illness, loss,
or death arising from the services rendered under this Agreement.
- The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Provider against any claims, demands,
damages, and costs (including legal fees) arising from the actions of the dog, including
injuries to third parties or damage to other people’s property.
12. Term and Termination
This Agreement becomes effective on the date of acceptance and remains in effect until
terminated by either party with written notice. The Provider may terminate this Agreement
immediately for non-payment, concealment of relevant health/behavioral information, or safety
concerns. Sections 5, 7, 9, 11, and this section shall survive the termination of services.
13. Independent Contractor
The Provider is a self-employed individual and performs services as an independent contractor.
Nothing in this Agreement creates an employer-employee relationship, agency, or partnership
between the parties. The Provider is solely responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and
business expenses.
14. General Provisions
- This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties. Any modifications must
be made in writing and agreed to by both parties.
